LG further strengthens finance practice with hire of three partners

International business law firm Lawrence Graham LLP (LG) has further strengthened its leading finance group by hiring three partners.

John Fox, Matthew East and Simon Elphick will join the partnership at LG in March from Stephenson Harwood.

Specialising in advising banks and borrowers on property-related loan transactions, John Fox is an experienced and prominent figure in the real estate finance sector. He regularly acts for major banks and on loans to funds.

Matthew East and Simon Elphick advise clients across a broad spectrum of sectors including retail, hotels, care homes, student accommodation and real estate funds, specialising in real estate finance, acquisitions, sales and management.

The recruitment of John, Matthew and Simon follows on from the hiring of partner Iain Shurwood into the finance team in October.

LG's finance group increased its turnover by 38 per cent last year.
