Vacation Schemes

Our vacation schemes are designed to help you decide where to start your career.  Emphasis is placed on ensuring that you meet a good mix of people across the firm, so that you can decide whether this is the kind of firm that suits you.  We offer three schemes, each running for two weeks over the summer. They offer you the chance to spend time in two of our departments.  Each vacation student is allocated a trainee buddy to work within the seat but you will be working for a number of lawyers and partners.  You will be given full training on our IT systems, as well as guidance on how to conduct and present research.

As a vacation student you will be completing real work and could be visiting clients, attending seminars and getting involved in client events. At the end of your scheme you will be offered an interview for a training contract position.  Success rates are good, and a high percentage of our vacation students go on to secure a training contract offer with us.
