Corporate Social Responsibility

We don't just pay lip service to our wider obligations. Rather, they’re part of every working day at LG. This is evident in the high environmental standards of our More London office and our commitment to our community. It’s also there to be seen in the huge range of pro bono work that we do.

It’s not just our logo that’s green. We’ve been awarded the ISO 14001 accreditation – one of the first law firms to have been so. And when we moved to More London, we made sure that our new offices incorporated environmentally-friendly features such as:

• movement detection lighting control,
• full recycling programme,
• fair trade and organic products in our garden café,
• regular carbon emissions assessments, and
• thermostatic air conditioning controls in all offices.

This year, our Charity Partner is Richard House Children's Hospice in Newham, East London.  Richard House provides core support for life-limited children, and children with complex healthcare conditions and their families.  The organisation accompanies the child or young person on their journey, creating positive experiences along the way that become good memories for the future.

Many of us are also involved in pro bono activities for the Big Issue and Relate, among others.
